The month of May concluded in joyous song as our children took to the stage for our annual spring concert.

Proud parents and grandparents applauded our young superstars as they performed a variety of dance and song numbers interspersed with video collages of their experiences here at the centre.   After a warm welcome from our Director, Rosanna, and introductions from our masters of ceremonies Martina and Nicole the performances got underway.

The evening program included:

• The toddler class performing “Shake your Silly’s” “The Chicken Dance” and “Baby Shark”
• The preschool class performing “If I were a Butterfly”, “Ram Sam Sam Dance” and “I am the Music Man” with the participation of one of our dads as the music man
• The kindergarten class performing “YMCA”
• The junior school-age group performed a dance number to “Finesse” by Bruno Mars and sang their rendition of “Demons” by Imagine Dragons
• The intermediate school-age group sang “Supermarket Flowers” by Ed Sheeran followed up by a dance number set the music of the Backstreet Boys

The evening concluded with our preschool graduation ceremony where our kinder-bound cuties donned their caps and gowns and were called upon one-by-one for well-wishes from Ms. Anne, Ms. Anna and Ms. Lisa.

The concert ended on a sweet note (as in the familiar tune of the ice-cream truck) as families enjoyed swirls of soft-serve just outside our doors.

We applaud not only our young performers but also our tremendous staff who have spent several months preparing the children for the spotlight.
