“A mother is a person who seeing there are only four pieces of pie for five people, promptly announces, she never did care for pie” – Tenneva Jordan
On Thursday, May 10th and Friday, May 11th we hosted our annual Mother’s Day breakfast to honor all those moms who gave up their piece of pie or may have forgone their morning coffee.
It said that the way you start your day sets the tone for the way the rest of it ensues; because of this we took the time to ensure that our well-deserving mothers would have a great one.
They were welcomed with a beautifully laid out breakfast spread that included scones, fresh fruit, overnight oats, yogurt and granola parfaits and mini lemon cupcakes baked and decorated by the children themselves (with a little help from staff). We raised a Momosa (orange juice and sparkling water) in cheer and further brightened their day with individual blooms to take with them on their way (along with some coffee to go).
Not only did we fill their bellies but their hearts as they enjoyed breakfast in the company of their children creating memories that will last a lifetime.
Wishing all of our wonderful moms a very Happy Mother’s Day!
