Thank you to Jessica Raimondo for joining the awesome team.
I would like to acknowledge the three members that left their roles as parent board members this year after years of service. These members have been instrumental in moving us forward the last few years as we began a journey of streamlining efficiencies with our admin systems and our organizational structure. Mauro has been on the board for 8 years and has led us as chair for the last three years. He has kept us on track, sifted through much discussion to get us to focus on the main goal and support its execution. His reflections and guidance was invaluable to the center and on behalf of the staff and center we thank you so very much for all your time and commitment to our community at St. Gabriel Child Care Centres. Tania has sat on our HR Committee and previously had the role of Vice Chair. She provided continuity over the years on projects and her expertise has been instrumental. Thank you, Tania, for all your support. Tony has been a dedicated member on the board and has sat on the building committee. This committee of one, was vital especially during our renovation in the summer of 2018. Thank you for being by my side at meetings with architects, contractors, and school board representatives. Each of these board members received a plaque with much thanks and in recognition of their contributions to our community.
