This service will be available until children are able to return to face-to-face school and Stay at Home Order is in place. Summer Newsletter Message from the Director Here Comes the Sun! Hello All: The finer weather is upon us and with the sun comes brighter days. We, with the support of York Region are offering Emergency Care for children in school with parents that are deemed essential service. I would like to send a thank you out to Ms. Gabriela, Ms. Julie, Ms. Sivanithy, and Ms. Sadia for supporting St. Gabriel Child Care Centre and our Emergency Care Program while their B &A program are not operating. They joined Ms. Daniela, Ms. Emily and Ms. Briana in delivering a fabulous program to balance online learning and quality programming. For children that will be celebrating their First Holy Communion this summer, we wish you blessings as you share the table of Christ. May you always feel the love and grace of God and may you always remember that He is there to comfort you, guide you and bless you always. I would like to take this opportunity to thank all our families and staff for their transparency and cooperation during this pandemic as we all share the responsibility to keep each other safe. Rosanna Lacalamita - Masci Before and After School Programs School Closures - Refund Reconciliation: Due to the school closures, Before and After school programs did not operate as of mid April. We are currently working on a refund reconciliation to refund only Before and After school families 50% of their payments paid on April 1st. If school does not reopen after June 2, 2021, security deposits paid for June fees will be returned in full. We will keep you updated and informed when the refunds (via cheque and/or EFT) will be ready for mailing/processed, we appreciate your patience and understanding during this challenging time.
September Before and After School Registration During the week of May 31st, September Before and After school registration will be confirmed from our team either by email and/or phone call, if you have not heard from our team by June 14th, kindly contact us at: info@stgabrielchildcare.com and/or 905-850-3358. Security Deposit and Registration fee payments will be withdrawn from your bank account on August 13th, if your banking information has changed, or a new family to St. Gabriel, kindly contact Antonella at: antonella@stgabrielchildcare.com or call 905-850-3358. Please DO NOT send banking information via email. Kindly note: Our monthly fees are due on the 1st of each month, if payment has not been withdrawn, kindly contact Antonella immediately. Any Returned Items (NSF) payments will automatically be withdrawn on the 15th of the same month, plus a $35 service fee.
Preschool Room
Toddler Room Hi Parents, For the past few months, we have been focusing on Spring and Spring activities. We had lots of fun planting flowers in our flowerpots outside and in our sensory bin inside.
The Preschool children participated in fun filled activities during the month of April. They eagerly engaged in Easter crafts and celebrations. The children anxiously scrambled to find eggs during our outdoor hunt. A furry white bunny Piccolina came to visit the children. They planted bulbs and made special handprinted cards for Mother’s Day. We started to incorporate more nature in the classroom and the children enjoying planting vegetables and herbs in the room. We hope to sample some once they grow!
Graduation is fast approaching in June. The graduates are practicing various songs for this special milestone. With the warmer weather approaching, we ask that the children be provided with extra clothing bathing suits and towels.
Our next projects will be focusing on animals and fish. Please look out for updates and messages regarding water fun days that will require bathing suits, towels, water diapers and water shoes

Getting ready for Kindergarten!... This is a huge milestone, and we thank you for sharing your child’s early learning experience with us at St. Gabriel Child Care Centres. If St Gabriel the Archangel CES is not your home school, you must withdraw from our program by submitting a letter or email a minimum of 30 days prior to their last day. We will apply your deposit to their last month of care. We are privileged to have Learned, Shared, Laughed and Grown with your children thus far. They have many adventures ahead in their journey and we hope that you will visit often to share. If your child is moving on to any of our host schools, St. Gregory the Great, St Margaret Mary, St. Clement or St. Gabriel please be aware that you must register for the Before and After School Program by clicking here or by visiting our website.
Summer Camp 2021 We are 70 % full!!! We are excited to welcome St Gabriel CCC Summer Camp! Camp will be running for a total of 7 weeks from July 5 – August 22, 2021. Our summer camp program is grounded in key virtues that align with our vision to further develop the child’s respect for self and others, achieve independence and grow in self- confidence. Our camps weekly focuses will help to provide direction and engage children in exciting learning opportunities while optimizing the summer weather and being outdoors. During our program, we value building positive relationships with one another and within the community. We bring together a unique group of staff and campers which forms a community where everyone is welcome. The dynamic of our summer camp program is to focus on infusing virtues in everyday learning experiences. Emergency Childcare Program St Gabriel Childcare Centre is the proud deliverer of Emergency Childcare to families in Woodbridge that are deemed essential workers during the stay-at-home order. The children spend their days with us online learning for school and engage in activities, programming, and physical activity during their out of school time. Thank you to our dedicated teachers and cooperative parents as we transitioned to find the best way possible to deliver this program.
